MIT releases industry’s ultra-thin encoder (total height: 14mm)

The MIT rotary position encoder KEM2500D-8-OT is now release base on advanced AMR technology. A rotating magnetic field in the X-Y sensor plane delivers two sinusoidal output signals which indicating the range (alpha) between the sensor and the magnetic field direction.

Applications :

  • Absolute Angle Position Sensor
  • BLDC Motor Control
  • Servo Motor Control
  • Stepping Motor Control
  • Optical Encoder Replacement

Feature & Benefits :

  • Base on advanced AMR Technology with 0~360 full angle sensing
  • 18 bit core resolution
  • Output propagation delay < 2us
  • -30 ~ 125 degree C industry operating temp. range
  • Output interface : ABZ , UVW , PWM , SPI
  • Incremental ABZ resolution 1 ~ 4096 PPR by user programmable
  • UVW output resolution 1 ~ 16 pole-pairs per revolution by user programmable
  • Open type module + NdFeB per package height < 14.5mm for user easy production
